At PNM Company we work closely with local schools as Industry partners where we provide internships for students and support the establishment of curriculum for our Career Tech Teachers.

Why Internships?
High School internships are the best way to bridge the gap between going to school and landing a great job. Internships can help provide valuable work experience by learning the ropes from experienced professionals. At the end of the internship, students have gained relevant experience to help the individual decide if starting their career in the field of the internship is the right choice for them.
Far too many students are graduating high school without a clear plan for their future — whether it’s college or career.
As the economic demand for high-skilled workers rises, high rates of unemployment among young people persist. This makes the transition to adulthood challenging for youth without meaningful work.
Internship programs not only help students connect the dots between work and school, but also empower them to visualize college and career pathways they previously thought were unattainable.
